First Little Memory House
You don’t truly know somebody until you’ve met him or her in person, but blogging is a good tool for sharing thoughts, ideas, and random stuff about you as a person. Here is some Dankku Trivia for you.
Finnish television has started broadcasting the legendary TV series Little House On The Prairie again. It’s been years since I watched this show, and I remember that as a kid I used to love to come home from school and watch an episode of it.
It’s kind of strange the things you remember. You can’t really choose what you are going to remember and what you are going to forget. Either it gets stuck in your head or it doesn’t. My very first memory is this:
We lived in Stockholm, Sweden in the early to mid 1980’s. I remember walking out of my bedroom, I heard sounds coming from the living room so I went in that direction. I saw my mother and my father sitting on the sofa watching Little House On The Prairie. I sat down on the floor and still to this day I remember how incredibly uncomfortable it was to sit there with the diaper on.
I was around 2 years old back then and that is the first memory I have of my life. I wonder what, if anything, that means.

That’s awesome, dude. I’ve thought before about what my first memory is, but I’m not entirely sure which is first. I can think of a few early memories, like that one I told you about where I’m sitting on my dad’s lap steering the giant station wagon around the airport parking lot. I think I was 4 when I did that. It’s hard to say if that’s my first or not. But anyway, cool post!

I never actually followed the series, but I still remember it on TV back in the days.
My first memories are all from Sweden and they are all mixed up so I can’t really say what age I was from the memories I have.
But I know all the memories are from when I was 1-6 years old.
