The Mist

I’m so excited. I’ve seen this film before, but it’s so good I have to watch it on the big screen. That’s why I got tickets to the prémiere tonight!

Basic plot (from imdb.com):

“After a violent storm attacks a town in Maine, an approaching cloud of mist appears the next morning. As the mist quickly envelops the area, a group of people get trapped in a local grocery store -among them, artist David Drayton and his five-year-old son. The people soon discover that within the mist lives numerous species of horrific, unworldly creatures that entered through an inter-dimensional rift, which may or may not have been caused by a nearby military base. As the world around them manifests into a literal hell-on-earth, the horrified citizens try desperately to survive this apocalyptic disaster.”

Now, I have to be brutally honest and say that I thought this must be a lame film, but holy crap was I wrong! This film is just awesome in so many ways and the ending is the best ending I’ve seen in many years… or maybe the best one I’ve ever seen. Hard to decide. Anyway, I found a trailer on YouTube, but the trailer doesn’t do the film justice at all. This one I strongly recommend so go watch it, folks!

  1. Seemed rather interesting even though my working buddy said it sucked, but he also said that the end was REALLY good. :)

  2. You believe your working buddy over me? Shame on you! :P
