Life Lessons – #3
I can’t stand when things are taken out of context, because honestly I find doing so is really quite stupid, yet I have to do so now.
Yesterday in Film Psychology class our teacher said something I had to jot down, so I forgot what else he said when he gave the example. But I thought the following quote was really interesting, and maybe a little ironic.
The best way to fail is not to try at all.
What do you think about this statement?

I think he’s very right!

Not so sure about it. Let’s say you suck at skateboarding; why would you get on a skateboard and try to do an ollie when you know you couldn’t? Is not avoiding failure a better option than to fail and embarrass yourself?

Spot on!
Well, at least then you can say that you once owned a skateboard and made a fool of yourself and you know not to do so again.
As I did.
I once owned a skateboard.
It broke.
In two.
At the middle.
Never owned one after that.
